Description

Explore Whistler's old growth forests in this 3-hour guided snowshoe walk. You will begin with a 4x4 ride from our Cougar Mountain base to the trailhead, where you will strap on your snowshoes and begin the journey, learning about local flora and fauna along the way. This experience culminates with a stop in the Ancient Cedars grove, where you will encounter trees estimated to be 900 years old!

Pre-arrival checklist

All guest must be comfortable hiking/snowshoeing 4km Waiver Policy All guests must sign a release of liability waiver prior to participating in any activity. Guests who are 16 years and older sign their own waiver. Guests under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver on their behalf.

Safety & Guidelines

Ancient Cedars: Guests must be minimum 8 years old to participate All guests must be physically capable and fit to walk 2km in the snow Snowmobile Tours: Passengers must be a minimum 6 years old, over four feet tall and fit a xxs helmet Drivers must be 16 years or older and have valid learners or full drivers license physically present Injury & Pregnancy Policy The Adventure Group discourages guests from participating in any of our activities when pregnant, with any current injuries, or any pre-existing back or neck injuries. In order to participate, we would require written consent from a physician with the understanding that all of our activities are outdoors with some form of physical activity involved. Drug & Alcohol Policy Guests cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when joining us on any tour. Guests will be denied entry if you or anyone in your group does not meet the requirements listed above. Tours run rain or shine! Cancellations or changes to your booking must be completed 24 hours prior to your activities start time. Cancellations within 24 hours of the activity's departure time are non-refundable, and changes to a booking within 24 hours will be subject to a 100% charge. The Adventure Group reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control.
